Global Refining Summit 2011, Rotterdam

Triple EEE attended the Global Refining Summit held in May in the Netherlands. We had the opportunity to engage with senior industry representatives and learn about their challenges and how we can support them in meeting their goals.
 
The presentations and panel sessions confirmed the business environment: capacity growth in middle and far east, energy and CO2 challenges in particular in Europe, and ongoing focus on improving the performance of existing assets to remain competitive in the crisis. Several presentations emphasized the importance of organizational and people aspects in any major improvement initiative, a topic that resonates well with Triple EEE’s approach to business improvement (see for example our news item on Site Management Review).
